Taizi’s connection to World Baijiu Day began at the very start in 2014, when a bottle was sent to Pop-Up Beijing to mark the celebration’s first year. Founded by Canadian writer and baijiu advocate Jim Boyce, the event was created to share and celebrate the world’s oldest distilled spirit with a modern audience.

From that first year onward, Taizi has remained part of the global celebration, representing both Chinese heritage and New Zealand innovation. Over the years, it has been voted among the best baijiu for quality and taste, admired for its balance, purity, and refined light aroma.
